Realme Introduces the Affordable Realme C51

Realme, known for its budget-friendly smartphones, has just unveiled the new Realme C51, priced at under Rs 10,000. This phone boasts several exciting features, including a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a speedy 90Hz refresh rate and 33W fast charging. One standout feature is its sleek design, measuring just 7.99mm in thickness, which sets it apart from competitors in this price range. In India, Realme already offers the Realme C55 and Realme C53 in the sub-Rs 15,000 category.

Realme C51 Price and Availability

The Realme C51 is priced at a budget-friendly Rs 8,999 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Buyers can choose from two elegant color options: Mint Green and Carbon Black. The phone was available in limited quantities earlier this week, but the company will officially start selling it on September 11.

Realme C51 Specifications

Despite lacking 5G support, the Realme C51 packs an array of attractive features to cater to a wide range of customers. It sports a 90Hz 6.74-inch display with a remarkable screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent, offering up to 560 nits of brightness. Notably, it comes equipped with the “Mini Capsule” feature, a concept similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island notch, which adjusts its size based on notifications.

Powering the Realme C51 is an octa-core Unisoc T612 SoC, coupled with a substantial 5,000mAh battery. The phone’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary AI camera, offering features such as Portrait Mode, Beauty Mode, HDR, Face Recognition, Filters, and Bokeh Effect Control, among others. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens. Notably, one of the key highlights is its support for 33W SuperVOOC charging. Realme claims that it can charge up to 50 percent in just 28 minutes and reach a full charge in roughly an hour. The charger is conveniently included in the box.

Realme C53: Another Affordable Option

Recently launched in India, the Realme C53 is another budget-friendly offering from the company. It features an impressive 108-megapixel camera and is priced under Rs 11,000. The base model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, retailing at Rs 9,999. There’s also a variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, available for Rs 10,999. This phone is powered by the Unisoc T612 SoC and features a 5,000mAh battery. On the software side, it runs on Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13.
