Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, known for her outstanding performance in the hit drama series “Humsafar” and her role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in “Raees,” has stolen hearts once again. This time, it’s her own heart she’s taken, as she recently married businessman Salim Karim. The ceremony, captured in a viral video on social media, was an intimate affair in the resort town of Bhurban.

Mahira, aged 38, looked radiant in a pastel lehenga with an elaborate veil, while Salim welcomed his bride in a black achkan and a powder blue saafa. Salim, the CEO of Pakistani telecom company Simpaisa, was dashing in his black sherwani and blue turban.
A Second Chance at Love
This isn’t Mahira’s first venture into marriage. She was previously married to Ali Askari from 2007 to 2015, and they have a 13-year-old son named Azlaan together. However, Mahira found love again when she met Salim in 2017, and their engagement took place in 2019 in Turkey.

Mahira Khan, along with other Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan, faced a challenging period in 2016 when they were threatened by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to leave India after the Uri Attack.
