Clips from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Jawan’ were leaked online, despite precautions taken by the makers. Red Chillies Entertainment filed a case against an unidentified individual for violating their copyright. The Santacruz police station registered an FIR under sections of the Information Technology Act. Mobile phones and recording devices were prohibited during filming, but the clips still circulated.
Legal notices were sent to the five Twitter handles that shared the leaked clips from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Jawan.’ The movie is set to release on September 7. The case was registered for theft under section 379 of the IPC and section 43(b) of the Information Technology Act. Previously, pictures and videos of Shah Rukh Khan’s bald look from the film were also leaked before being taken down. The film’s trailer later revealed a detailed look at the superstar’s appearance.
