Google Pixel 8 Series Launch Date and Availability in India

What’s more, Indian consumers can rejoice because the Pixel 8 lineup, consisting of the standard Pixel 8 and the high-end Pixel 8 Pro, will be available in India.
Pre-Order Information
Google has confirmed that pre-orders for these smartphones will commence on Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce platforms, starting from the day after the launch event. Flipkart has been Google’s trusted online retail partner for all previous Pixel launches.
Specifications of the Pixel 8 Series
The latest Android 14 operating system is expected to power both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, and they are anticipated to offer high-quality displays with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The standout feature could be the Tensor G3 System-on-Chip (SoC), an upgrade from the previous Tensor G2 SoC found in the Pixel 7 series.
The Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to feature new camera sensors and even include a temperature sensor. People anticipate that it will have a powerful 4,950mAh battery, with support for 27W wired fast charging. While the official pricing is yet to be confirmed, reports suggest that the Pixel 8 could be priced at approximately EUR 874.25 (around Rs. 78,400) for the 128GB storage variant and EUR 949.30 (about Rs. 85,200) for the 256GB storage option. Color options for this model may include hazel, mint, obsidian, and rose.
The Pixel 8 Pro, the higher-end model, might be priced at around EUR 1,235.72 (roughly Rs. 1,10,900) for the 128GB storage variant, EUR 1,309.95 (approximately Rs. 1,17,500) for the 256GB storage option, and EUR 1,461.24 (about Rs. 1,31,100) for the 512GB storage variant. Color choices for this model could be bay, mint, obsidian, and porcelain.
Pixel 8 Series Debut in India
The Pixel 8 series launch will mark a significant moment for Indian consumers, as it will be the second mainline Pixel release in India since 2018. The Pixel 7 series debuted in the country last year, whereas previous models like the Pixel 4, Pixel 5, and Pixel 6 series never received an official launch in India.
