Getting ready for the 18th G20 Summit in India next month. Delhi police are busy ensuring smooth traffic flow for the event. VIP delegates, including heads of states, will be in Delhi.
The G20 Summit will happen on September 9-10 at Pragati Maidan’s Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre.
Special CP, Traffic – SS Yadav, shared that traffic restrictions begin from September 7. Commercial vehicles will have limits, but ambulances and essential goods transport won’t face issues.
Ambulances and medical help won’t be affected. A special ambulance assistance control room is being set up.
A traffic advisory with transportation details will be released. Restrictions will be in the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) area. Metro services will run normally.
A virtual helpdesk will assist delegates, tourists, and citizens. It will provide info on transportation and more.
Delhi police have a traffic plan to ensure smooth movement during the event.
