CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in a post through his Instagram Broadcasts channel, has announced that the recently launched paid verification system by Facebook and Instagram owner Meta Verified is being expanded to India. The company has said that paid verification is now available for all users in India, with Brazil also coming soon.
In India, blue tick verifying users on iOS and Android will pay Rs 699 monthly. Users will also get the facility to verify on the web later. With membership, users will get a verified badge, enable emulation and get benefits like account support.

- Verification: For FB Blue Tick, users will be required to provide a government issued ID and a selfie video for their Identity Verification.
